The 2016 BBWF Wrap UpAug 07

Wow.. just wow! The 2016 Byron Bay Wedding Fair was every bit as amazing as we suspected it would be!

We saw lots of lovely couples making the journey to beautiful Byron Bay, to scope out fifteen of the region’s most desirable wedding venues and over a hundred premium vendors, to help them plan their ultimate Byron Bay destination wedding.

From venues, coordinators, caterers, celebrants, florists, photographers, HMUA’s and musicians right through to stationery, jewellery, suit and dress designers and much much more, we had all angles covered at this year’s Byron Bay Wedding Fair and based on the feedback from attending couples and vendors, the event achieved its purpose – which is to showcase Byron Bay as Australia’s ultimate destination wedding location, fueled by a community of beautiful and creative souls who make planning a wedding here fun, easy and oh so memorable!

Boasting stunning coastlines, pristine beaches, and rolling hills as far as the eye can see, Byron Bay is home to some of the most spectacular venues in the world, and the Byron Bay Wedding Fair was the perfect opportunity for new brides and grooms-to-be to discover this for themselves, meeting with a delightful array of hand-picked wedding vendors, who were out to impress with their creative spaces and warm and friendly manner.

We had five ‘main’ venues hosting our wedding vendors this year; Fig Tree, Byron View Farm, Horizon, Forget Me Not and Secret Garden, and the vibe at all was high, as couple’s relished the opportunity to explore the venues and chat with vendors at their own pace, without the pressure often experienced at a typical ‘wedding expo’, all whilst being treated to detailed venue tours and plenty of free advice from Byron Bay Weddings on coordination, catering, accommodation and other aspects involved in planning a destination wedding in Byron Bay.

Each one of our five main venues was set up and styled by The Wedding Shed, in collaboration with our amazing florists and other vendors in such a way as to help couples visualise what a wedding at each venue could potentially look (and feel) like.

If you made it to the event this year, we hope you had a wonderful time and that it not only gave you an insight into the incredible pool of talent existing within the Byron Bay wedding community but that you found exactly what you were looking for. Whether you are at the beginning of your journey and your focus was on venue hunting and coordination options, or you are at the tail end of your planning journey and were looking for the final touches to bring it all together.
