From your ceremony, under a huge fig tree with the ocean, lighthouse, and Julian rocks as a backdrop, through to cocktails and canapés by the pool or lawn games and a gentle walk through the garden – your guests will feel instantly wowed, relaxed and indulged.
Established in 1981 Fig Tree is Byron Bay’s most awarded restaurant, this year again winning “Best Restaurant North coast Region” and again being a national finalist in “Best BYO Restaurant.”
Dinner can be a relaxed affair, by the pool or on the lawn under the stars ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ or a more intimate dining experience in the restaurant. With a large open planned interior, the restaurant leads itself to a night of family, friends, great food and fun.
Che, Head Chef and Owner, keeps it simple with produce sourced predominantly from the restaurant’s own gardens, along with the fields, paddocks, and oceans that surround Byron Bay. In the restaurant, he combines this premium produce with his creativity and experience, gained from years spent travelling and cooking around the world.
For your wedding menu, Che will invite you to the restaurant to enjoy a six-course tasting, before sitting down with you to design a menu that reflects what is fresh, local, in season and is “the food you want to eat!!”
Fig Tree offers two houses for accommodation – The Dairy and Sunrise, both on either side of the restaurant, for you, your family or friends to get ready in or retire to.
