With a truly seasonal menu using ingredients reared and harvested from local farms and growers, The Peak specialises in bringing diners a taste of the Scenic Ring and surrounds.

Inspired by the fresh, seasonal, local produce and regional wines of the Scenic Rim and Granite Belt, our Contemporary Australian á la carte and degustation menus deliver a culinary taste sensation.

Little wonder The Peak was awarded two Chef Hats in the 2016 and 2017 Brisbane Times Good Food Guide awards and the 2015 Australian Good Food Guide awards.

Tomasz Kornacki’s career began in his hometown of Poland, where he developed a passion for cooking with his family and then moved to Switzerland to perfect his craft.

Tomasz then moved to Melbourne to work with popular Italian venues such as Tutto Bene, Da Noi and Caffe e Cucina. Previously located at Mission Beach, Tomasz strong culinary ability with international cuisines allowed him to showcase the regions fruits and other locally sourced produce in a creative and unique way.

Bringing his Polish flare to The Peak Restuarant, Tomasz’s menu includes childhood favourites such as ‘Borscht’.

With passionate and skilled culinary teams who have been collaborating and creating non-stop for the last few years, and the recent bounty of produce from our new market gardens and the local region, we feel it is worth celebrating our culinary connection with the land and it’s producers as well as Australia’s thriving gastronomic scene.

Working closely with local producers, who are considered part of the Spicers family, including a number of farm suppliers who are now working directly with the chefs to create bespoke produce for each season and menu, is a fundamental part of Spicers culinary philosophy. As Spicers is growing its culinary credentials and commitment to sustainability there is now an additional emphasis on home grown produce.
