Symone and Sebastien were looking to create a “simple and elegant vibe” for their Byron Bay wedding which “embraced the already beautiful farm house and gardens” of their venue, Byron View Farm.
With flowers used as the primary decorative element, it really goes to show that when it comes to styling, it’s true that less is often more.
Natasha from Roots Floristry was their chosen florist, working with a soft palette of pinks, purples and white blooms highlighted by greenery and textured foliage, to create the bride’s striking floral crown, bouquet and EPIC ladder installation, suspended over long dining tables which were set up on the farmhouse’s 100-year-old verandah.
Their ceremony was officiated by popular Byron Bay Weddings celebrant, Michelle Shannon, who was “amazing” and had Symone and Sebastien’s “guests raving about for days”.
And whilst Symone confessed she was “worried about the photos” because she hates having her photo taken and “things looking too posed”, she was “over the moon” with how Figtree Wedding Photography “captured the moment” and who had the couple feeling “so relaxed” they almost “forgot they were there”.
And when asked for her best piece of advice to couples currently in the midst of wedding planning, Symone had this to say…
“Have fun! Don’t get too caught up in it all. The day goes so so quickly!
It’ll be over before you know it, so cherish every minute!”
.. and we couldn’t agree more.
Congratulations Sym & Seb, what an amazing day!
