Overcast and rainy days can give you some of the best light for portraits, and outdoor photography in general, so you could imagine I was pretty happy to wake up to a cloudy Byron Bay day when Sophie & Bradley’s wedding rolled around. I knew we would get some beautiful photos out in the fields surrounding the cottage at Byron View Farm.
The team at Byron Bay Weddings had everything set to go for the rain plan, and yep, you guessed it… right at the last minute there was a seamless change of plans to revert back to the original outdoor ceremony; overlooking Byron Bay reaching right out to the sea.
The timeless styling of fresh greenery and white florals paired so well with Byron View Farm’s cottage; and the weather made for a cosy evening of long feasting tables full of family and friends, with endless platters of Figtree Restaurant’s famous sharing dishes.
It really was a perfect day,
